SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Deadline for Entries
Entries must be emailed or physically received at the address designated below on or before Wednesday, December 21, 2011.
How to Submit Entries
The entry form is an online Wufoo form. Digital entry forms make it much easier to produce accurate awards certificates. A completed entry form must be filled out for each submission. Please double check your entries to make certain you have marked correct categories. Before completing your digital entry form, please upload your publications through Dropbox. Each digital entry will have a place to insert the Dropbox link. For questions, contact Mary Getz.
Detailed Digital Submission Instructions
- For all digital submissions use Dropbox.com, which offers free accounts for up to 2GB of storage. To access Dropbox, visit http://www.dropbox.com and download Dropbox onto your computer (or use their web interface). After downloading, follow their instructions for installing and creating your own account.
- Save each file that you are entering as OverallCategory_SpecificCategory_LastName_EntryNo.pdf or .doc
Example: Writing_Blog_Slocumb_1.pdf OR Writing_Blog_Slocumb_1.doc - Fill out and submit the Polly Bond Entry Form for EACH entry: http://episcopal.wufoo.com/forms/2012-polly-bond-entry-form/
- Submit a digital photo of yourself by saving in the drop box folder with the file name Headshot_LastName_FirstInitial.pdf/jpeg/gif
- Create a folder in your Dropbox account. Name the folder Last Name_First Initial_PollyBond. Put each entry and corresponding entry form into the folder.
- Click on the option to share the folder with ec.polly.bond.awards@gmail.com
To Note for Digital Media Submissions
To submit a website, simply include the URL on the entry form. No other file will be needed. To submit an entry for Social Media you may either submit the URL on the entry form OR capture a screenshot of the specific social media event you are submitting and save it as an image file for submission.
Submitting Category 33 - Promotional Materials
Category 33 – Promotional Materials is the only category for which non-digital submissions will be accepted. Those entries can be mailed to:

Tracking Shipments
Entries submitted digitally will be confirmed via email. It is strongly recommended that shipped entries be sent in a manner that allows you to trace the shipment. Shipments sent through UPS or FedEx can be tracked online. You can also obtain delivery confirmation for USPS priority Mail and Parcel Post if you have requested this service in advance. The Polly Bond Committee and Episcopal Communicators will not be responsible for lost packages. Hard Copy submissions will receive an email confirmation within one week of receipt of package.
Return of Entries
Entries will not be returned. Winning entries will be posted on the Episcopal Communicators’ website at www.episcopalcommunicators.org. Judges’ evaluations may be picked up after the awards ceremony at the 2012 conference. If you will not be attending the conference, your evaluations and any winning certificates will be mailed to you after the conference is over.
Payment of Entry Fees
Please fill out the Polly Bond Payment Form at http://www.episcopalcommunicators.org/polly-bond-payment/ If paying online, “Add to Cart” the correct number of General Excellence and Regular Entry submissions and use Google checkout to process payment. If paying by check, make copies of all Polly Bond Entry Confirmation Emails and put in an envelope with your payment. Make check payable to Episcopal Communicators and mail to Bill Slocumb:

Submission Fees
First entry: $20 for all categories except General Excellence Submissions; Multiple Entries: $20 for the first entry and $15 for subsequent entries; General Excellence Entries: $30
