Purpose statement, Professional Standards & Development Committee: To promote professionalism among communicators who work for the Episcopal Church by: (1) Identifying current standards and guidelines for salaries, benefits and employment conditions, including a regular survey of members; (2) lobbying for justice and accountability in the workplace through participation in regional and national groups with similar goals; (3) providing ongoing continuing education through articles and tip sheets on a wide range of communication topics released periodically on the web site; and (4) by arranging mentoring relationships for members of Episcopal Communicators, upon request.
